Birthday Card For My Dad

 My dear Dad is turning 75 years old today and for him I made this special card :)

Parcels, Parcels, Parcels.

More parcels arrived today, wonderful :)

My old mouse pad was pretty worn by now, so another was needed and at Zazzle I found one I wanted in my own shop in there, and because I have money on my account in there from sales I could use them so I shouldn't have to spend any of my own money :D

From Dorthe, private buy, I bought some more half pearls, so now I can create more pearl-doodle-designs I can use on the cards I make :)

At Ting til Hobby, who have clearance sale I bought more ribbons, you can never have too much of it and certainly not when it is so cheap.

I bought these doilies and self-adhesive paper ribbons at the same place.

I was a bit excited to see how big the doilys was and when I got them I could immediately see that they are the perfect size, so I wanted to go and see if I could order a few more, but the shop is closed and turned off now :(

I bought these flowers mix at the same place.

 

All these rhinestone half pearl I also bought at the same place.

And all there A4 papers did I buy at the same place.

And last but not least I bought this stack pad of beautiful patterned paper.

New Purchases from Ting Til Hobby Part 1.

This morning I received a parcel from Ting Til Hobby, the shop has a clearance sale with up to 50% discount, it is really sad that yet another shop is closing.
I found several good items rather cheap :)

I just can't get enough of ribbons, I use it a lot and these rolls has 5 and 10 metres on and cost me only from 3 to 7 Danish kroner.

Brads and Rhinestones are also items I use a lot and the sweet stencil in the picture I couldn't resist it :D

Ribbon Tree

I have many decorative ribbons, a lot in fact, some of them I don't use for cards and other projects any longer so they just lay there in the boxes and take up space and throwing them out is a no-no in my book, there will always be a time where it can be used again too :D

Then suddenly through browsing on the internet I came across this wonderful blog, Sweet Cakes Craft, where they had made such a tree and what a great way to use the ribbons, so that was what I did :)

I have not yet made ​​up my mind on how the foot / jar should look like, but it'll come me somehow :)

Birthday Card for Emil

I have known Emil from when I started working at the venue Rytmeposten, that is over 20 years ago now, he is a legend in there and he turns 60 years old tomorrow :D
So I have made him this card :)

The card for Emil at his 60 years Birthday :)

He photographs a lot that is why I have included the old camera.

The designer paper I've used is from Graphic 45 and plain carton cut in my own design.

New Purchases from Eyelet Outlet

This wonderful place Eyelet Outlet is filled with a lot of fantastic brads, eyelets and ribbons etc., a wonderful El Dorado :)
I have shopped there a lot and they deliver very fast after an order is placed and again, the postage is very cheap too :)

On 30th March I bought all of this.

Lots of brads and a fun ribbon with a chubby bumblebee.

Owl Card

Then challenge no. 2 started in the competition at Scrapsisters and the requirements was that the color yellow and a bow would be part of the card ... here is my contribution to the competition :)


 

The designpaper, decorations and owl is my own design (IWD).
I chose to place the color yellow in ribbons and buttons, the bow has yellow in it and the green branch the owl sits on also has yellow in it.

Altering of a Poker Box

The finished result.

The box is all black and very thick cardboard of good quality.

 
 
 
 

The lid closes with magnetic closure, available in the box already.

For the lid I used Prima Marketing Design Paper Whimsy from their beautiful Watercolor Rainbow Collection. This paper is so good and strong in quality and also very decorative so I do not have the heart to put something on top.

To open the lid without destroying the carton I've put on, I put a trim solid as a handle.

When the lid is opened again, I have used some more Rub-Ons.

 

The only thing I could have the heart to do on top of the lids fine paper was to put a Rub-Ons text.
