Helping Memory

It is hard to keep remembering all the punches I have, what ribbons, what dies and spellbinders etc.
I came across a wonderful blog with lots of good ideas on how to catalogue and store all you have a lot of so you can find what you seek fastor have an overview of what you have to avoid buying it again :)

I made a catalogue on my punches.
I promise there will be pictures of it later on of what I made.
Mine is another variation of the one I saw, I started to make one exactly but found it a bit awkward so I adjusted the meassurements a bit here and there and then found a way that works best for me :)

Chit Chat

I am still busy cleaning and organizing my craft room, it is not something there's done in an hour, unfortunately :D
I guess it's because I am organizing all my things at the same time, so it's more convenient for me in the future and to make it easy to reach all I use a lot and mostly instead of I having to run around and find it all.

At the same time is the weather rather hot and it's awful to move around, so the quality time of the day are less.
Also does my little family need to be attended to and our little girl are going on holiday to her grandmother together with her aunt and cousins, it's is going to be some great days for her.
But don't worry, I have so many ideas that I am almost exploding so as soon I finish with this cleaning I will create a lot and hopefully my shop will be online soon along with my blog and portfolio etc.

New Second Hand For My Craft Room

I love the CD holder racks, but only those who have loose shelves to take out because I use them for storing my craft things, they have just the right depth and the proper height between the shelves.

In Gul & Gratis, an online second hand trade, I found two of the same kind at one and the same person, and I should only give Danish kr. 75,00 for both, and luckily they were not sold and only a few kilometers from here where I live.

I already have a CD-rack shelf, one of the very long ones, it is laid down on top of my tables against the wall and on top of it I have now placed the two short ones, but to ensure it's not crashing down on top of my head I have screwed the two short ones together with two srews and I have hooked them to the wall, so now it's stable :)
Super cheap and wonderful storage furniture.

Pardon me the mess, I had to move a lot of stuff to make room for it :)

My Craft Room

I am cleaning out and rearranging things in my craft room so it's pretty messy and no order rules in there yet, hopefully it will soon :D

But I couldn't really figure out how I should store my own template designs best way, to place them into a ringbinder did not go well, they take up so much space in thickness that there couldn't be many in each binder if I would have a chance to close them, and ring binders fill a lot and the shelf space they occupy I relly can use for anything else.

So I asked my husband what to do, hang them up at the ceiling, he said, ... aha ... came to mind we had some long, old curtain rods lying in the basement so I went down and got them out, dusted off and hung one up in the ceiling :D

I was considering buying some s-hooks ... buuuut ... when I saw how expensive they really was I did not wanted to spend that much money on for now instead I remembered that I had a drawer full of book-rings and they fit well in the thickness of the rod and also I had several 7gypsies aligator clips that could hang on the rings, so now my templates and assorted rub-ons etc isn't taking up any unnecessary space :D

The other rod will I then hang from the ceiling over the tables.... tomorrow :D

Hobbyrum

Uha, at flytte er godt nok stressfuldt, men nu er vi endelig flyttet og så småt ved at komme på plads, der mangler stadig en masse.

Oh boy, moving are really stressfull but, now we finally have moved and starting to get things in their right spot but we still am missing a lot to do I think.

Mit hobbyrum er ved at tage form og så småt begynder jeg at få mine ting på plads, det bliver rigtig rart når jeg er færdig, så jeg kan finde alle mine ting i stedet for at skulle lede efter det, alle mulige steder :)

My working space is starting to look like something I can use :) ... It's going to be nice when it's finished so I am able to find everything I need to use instead of having to look for it all over :)

Dette gamle skab, med glaslåger, var malet gråt, jeg har to af dem, jeg besluttede at male dem hvide udvendig og indvendig, og hylden beklædte jeg med hyldepapir i en lyseblå farve med hvide prikker, gode opbevaringsskabe.
Æskerne ovenpå skabet, har jeg også fornyet med smukt scrapbook papir, de var sådan nogle kedelige brune nogen, jeg havde beklædt dem med grønt gavepapir, det så ikke alt for smart ud, så nu ligner de nogle fine dyre æsker, og gode til opbevaring også :)

This old cabinet with glass doors was painted grey, I have two of them, but I decided to paint them white outside and inside and I dressed the shelf with shelf-paper in pale blue with white dots, these cabinets are really good for storage.
The boxes on top of the cabinet have I given a new look with beautiful scrapbooking paper, they were so boring to look at, brownish originally and green paper, they really did not look smart but now they look like some really fancy and expensive boxes and they are good for storage too :)

Malede "Create" på væggen og brugte lyserød maling, oveni har jeg malet med perlemor glimmer så det får et skønt skær.
Dekoreret med diverse pynt fra K&Co.

I painted the word "Create" on the wall and used pink painting, on top of it I painted mother-of-pearl glitter so it gets a fantastic glow.
For the final touch I decorated with adhesive decorations from K&Co.

This old and beautiful jug is both decorative and useful to hold my painting brushes, it's an old jug I found through an antic store.

Denne lyserøde glasserede skål med hvide prikker på, var oprindeligt min datters, da hun var lille, til grød og morgenmad, men den bruges ikke så meget længere og derfor har jeg snuppet den til mit hobbyrum, den kan nemlig indeholde meget.

This pink glassed bowl with white dots was originally my daughters breakfast bowl when she was little, for porrage and serial, but it was not in use as much any longer so I grabben it for my room, it is good for storage too :)
