More New Purchases

From a private seller I bought this bunch of flowers :)

Parcels, Parcels, Parcels.

More parcels arrived today, wonderful :)

My old mouse pad was pretty worn by now, so another was needed and at Zazzle I found one I wanted in my own shop in there, and because I have money on my account in there from sales I could use them so I shouldn't have to spend any of my own money :D

From Dorthe, private buy, I bought some more half pearls, so now I can create more pearl-doodle-designs I can use on the cards I make :)

At Ting til Hobby, who have clearance sale I bought more ribbons, you can never have too much of it and certainly not when it is so cheap.

I bought these doilies and self-adhesive paper ribbons at the same place.

I was a bit excited to see how big the doilys was and when I got them I could immediately see that they are the perfect size, so I wanted to go and see if I could order a few more, but the shop is closed and turned off now :(

I bought these flowers mix at the same place.

 

All these rhinestone half pearl I also bought at the same place.

And all there A4 papers did I buy at the same place.

And last but not least I bought this stack pad of beautiful patterned paper.

I've just made a new Vintage Card for a lady who is turning 70.

Owl Card

Then challenge no. 2 started in the competition at Scrapsisters and the requirements was that the color yellow and a bow would be part of the card ... here is my contribution to the competition :)


 

The designpaper, decorations and owl is my own design (IWD).
I chose to place the color yellow in ribbons and buttons, the bow has yellow in it and the green branch the owl sits on also has yellow in it.

Birthday Card

Today, Sunday the 23rd January, it's my mums Birthday and I made this card for her.
The bird is my own creation and the frame around the picture is my own creation too.

Wedding Day Card

It was my parents Wedding Day this Friday the 21st of January. I made this card for them.
The heart with wings have I created myself and the design paper used is my own design.



Congratulations Card

For this card I've used a picture from one of my own old magazines, scanned it and printed it out.
The decoration is made out of an old book page, some lace and flower brad from MM, embellishments from MM and bow.
Used Dymo for the text.

Birthday Card

Birthday Card.

Used scalloped punch to various shades of green and put them together like grass, cut long thin strips of green paper and put on glitter-glue.

Flower is round and scalloped punches in various shades placed on top each other with foam pads.



Doodle Design

Jeg elsker at lave doodle tegninger og har snart den ene skitse efter den anden på mit arbejdsbord, så fik jeg ideen at lave en doodle tegning på en af Freya's gamle bluser, blev det ikke godt kunne det være lige meget, så jeg tegnede det op med stoffarve, men syntes ikke det så så godt ud, alt for hjemmelavet og kedeligt !!!
Så fik jeg idden at brodere det op, lidt af en opgave, men resultatet blev altså så meget bedre og jeg er mere tilfreds med det.

I love doodle drawing and have done so many on paper then I got the idea on making a doodle drawing on one of Freya's blouses, an old one so it wouldn't matter if the result turned out bad :)
I drew it with fabric pens but the result looked crappy but then I thought of making it into embrodery and the result of that is so much better and I am very satisfied with it.

På ærmekanten syede jeg tre orange blomster med gule blomster på.

I sewed three orange flowers with a yellow flower on top at the edge of the sleeve.

Den grønne stilk er grønt garn jeg har syet fast med sytråd, man kan klikke på billedet og se det stort og tæt på, bladene har jeg broderet med kædesting og flerfarvet sytråd og sat 5 perler på snor til den ene side af bladets deling, perlerne er grønne og orange, for enden af hver doodle gren har jeg påsyet en gul blomst og imellem de grønne grene har jeg påsyet pink blomster med en gul ovenpå, ved start og slutenden på doodlen er der en stor blomst, de er begge syet i korssting med dobbelt sytråd i røde og lilla farver og i midten er der en orange knap på hver.

The green branch is green yarn sewed on with green sewing thread, you can click on the picture to get a bigger and closer one, the leaves have I embrodered with various colored sewing thread and placed 5 pearls on a thread in green and orange colors to the one side of it, at the end of each little doodle branch I have sewed on a little yellow flower and in between all branches I have sewed pink flowers with a little yellow flower on top, at the beginning and end of the doodle drawing I have embrodered a flower with sewing thread of the colors red and purple and in the middle I have placed an orange button.





 

Her er Freya med sin nye bluse, hun er stolt af den og det er jeg selvfølgelig glad for :)
