The Box for the Tag Album

And here is the box I created for the Tag Album I created for my Dear brother for his 50 year old Birthday the 16th December 2011.

Tag Album

The Tag Album I created for my Dear brother for his 50 year old Birthday the 16th December 2011.

I have chosen not to show all the pages content because it's private.

But here you can se the front, the back and a bit of one page inside.

Gift Tags

For my dear brother's 50 years Birthday I had the presents divided into several seperate parcels besides the house.

I created the tags myself.

The Grim One.

This tag is for a gift with a very popular magazine from our youth, called GRU (Horror).

The Fun One.

This tag hides a gift with two Donald Duck magazines but not just any old ones, my brother is born on 16th December 1963, unfortunately not any was published exactly that day, but I was able to get the one the week before and after that date, the 12th and the 19th December and being so old they are in fantastic conditions, not a scratch.

Throughout out childhood we got the Donald Dock magazine faithfully every week and we loved it.

The Sweet One.

Here the tag hides a CD gift with the good old band The Sweet, a live recording of their concert in Denmark in 1976.

I thought it was the concert my brother had attended but he believes there wasn't any recording of that one when he was there but it contains at least the entire repertoire of the concert and it was his very first concert he went to.

The Sour One.

Behind this tag is yet another CD with a Danish band called Den Danske Mafia.

Every time they have released a CD my brother got one, my husband have made all the band's covers and the latest published CD he had not received yet so it was ideal to include it here.

Gavetags

Til min kære brors 50 års Fødselsdag var gaverne delt op i flere dele foruden huset.

Tagsne havde jeg selv lavet.

Den Grumme.

Denne tag gemmer på en gave med et GRU blad, som var populært i vores ungdom :)

Den Sjove.

Denne tag gemmer på en gave med 2 Anders And blade, men ikke hvilke som helst, min bror er født 16. December 1963, desværre udkom der ikke et blad på netop den dag, men ugen før og ugen efter, den 12. og den 19. December så dem købte jeg, og de er i fantastisk kvalitet.

Hele vores barndom fik vi Anders And troligt hver uge, og vi elskede det.

Den Søde.

Her gemmer taggen på en cd med bandet The Sweet, en live optagelse af deres koncert i Danmark i 1976.

Jeg mente det var netop den koncert min bror var til, men det mener han ikke der var optagelse til, men den indeholder i hvert fald hele repetoiret af koncerten, og det var hans første koncert han gik til.

Den Sure.

Bag denne tag gemmer der sig endnu en CD med det danske band Den Danske Mafia.

Hver gang de har udgivet en CD har min bror fået een, min mand har lavet alle bandets covers og den sidste nye havde han ikke fået så det var oplagt at indkludere den her.
